A Blogger Obsessed!!

The Sipes are getting ready for baseball season. If we can get the Tennessee basketball teams to the final four then we know we will be closer to RED SOX season. Connor is a card-carrying member of the Nation at the ripe old age of 1. This is his first Red Sox hat. He is getting used to the idea but would prefer the pacifier over any other item- including clothes.
Recently I found blogs for some high school and Phi Mu friends. We all have kiddos (some more on the way) and it has been so much fun to check them out. I am obsessed- it is hard to do homework when I need to see what everyone else is doing....
Buy him tons of toys and he prefers the trashcan

The annual Jaycees Gatlinburg Retreat. This is Johnathan welcoming us and going over the itinerary. We all got "layed" on arrival to the hospitality suite.

( Sarah is in the background. She has lived in the Tri-Cities for 5 years and never been to Pal's -I really cannot believe it!!!)

It is a ritual that the Jaycees go to the Calhouns Bar to watch for wedding parties across the street. This year we were so lucky as to have a wedding reception in the bar during our happy hour. I couldn't help it I had to take a photo. They were cutting the cake as we ate wings and onion loaf. I hope they are as happy as me and my hubby.....

It's been a while!!

It's been a while since I have had time to sit down and post some photos. January was busy. We had Connor's third and final birthday party at our house. He enjoyed a smaller cake and got a new rocking chair, clothes and blocks. He is more interested in the cabinets and tupperware than all the presents we got him! We went to Catharine and Marc's wedding in Charleston, SC. It was beautiful. Connor had a great time dancing at the rehearsal dinner and at the wedding. In early February we went to a baby shower for Aimee and Allen. Allen received a hazardous waste uniform for all of the dirty diapers he plans to change. "Dont't frown when you have to go to brown town" was the logo and the name on his hard hat was Poop Trebek.I think that was a little inside joke between he and his brother. We are looking forward to the arrival of Hayden Dobson Eubank in early March. Kyle and I are very busy with school and work. This semester has been the most time consuming for me. Kyle's next class looks to be challenging. So if you don't hear from us soon it's because we are getting so smart!! Kyle and I are going to celebrate Valentine's Day in Gatlinburg at the end of the month.

Happy Valentine's Day from Kyle

Trying new things..

No photos for this one. I am trying to upgrade a little!! I am going to add some other blogs that I follow to the links. I will add my favorite- the Steece quads. They are an amazing family and have an awesome blog. I am convinced that the thirty-something moms of the world are all into blogging. I am trying to find a good photo of the three of us to post at top. For now, Connor and his daddy will work!! TIffany

Cameron and Sydney

It's been a little while since I posted. We started back to school and had a wedding this weekend( look for that blog later). I wanted to dedicate one post to Connor's favorite cousins Cameron and Sydney. They bought him so many presents for Christmas and his birthday. He loved both of them so much and they loved him too! We had fun opening Christmas presents, celebrating his birthday and going to the pizza place to play the crane game( I was 3 for 2- meaning one time I got two dolls and the next time I just got one). We look forward to seeing them next year!!

I am pretty sure Sydney was telling Connor he was making a mess on Papa's floor!!

How to eat your 1st birthday cake

Connor spent his first birthday in Oregon with his nana, papa, aunts, uncles and cousins. He had a great birthday party. All of our friends from Oregon came with their kids as well as Kyle's family. We had not seen some people since we left Portland. It was a great day and Connor loved his presents but most of all his cake. I have so many pictures from last week, including a New Year's countdown, to post later this week when we recover from jetlag.
