Weight Watchers Update

So, as of Sunday I had lost 3 pounds. But as of Monday morning I had lost one pound. How did this happen? I ate mash potatoes at Jo Rita's!!! Oh well- I did really well today.
This photo is of my last supper( last week prior to WW)- Goat cheese salad. Mostly this photo is for Cari and Aimee. I am sure they are so proud of their little girl!!!

Hair today, gone tomorrow

So let me start out by saying-I am blessed with a full head of thick hair. Naturally curly, thick, not really sure of the natural color but for now a light cherry red. Below is a picture of my parents last year. It's not hard to figure out where I get my hair from. Over the last several months I have wanted a hair cut and my stylist, Hollie, made me think it over. So you can scroll down and see the transformation.....Me, Easter 2008. Curly, little poofy, little darker. Connor was in need of a hair cut too

Finally- Mid July. Hollie did it and told me to really straighten it. Little short in the back but the front is longer. However I wanted some WOW factor!

Present- A little Posh Spice meets Tori Spelling (my new favorite show- she and I have lots in common and that is the inspiration for the hair Ha Ha!)
Connor did not recognize me at first. It can be worn curly or straight. I think it makes me look much more stylish. That Hollie at Hairbenders is the best!! Goodbye for now POOFY hair!!

WEIGHT WATCHERS BEGINS!!

I decided to let all of my blogging family and friends know that I am back on the weight watchers train. Seems I just can't get rid of this post baby fat. I am sure that there is a time after you have a child in which you can no longer blame them for your weight. So since I had good success with WW in the spring I have decided to do it again. In November I will go to Knoxville for the Phi Mu 100 year celebration. I want to look good when I see all of my sorority sisters for the first time since college. So I plan to make myself blog my experience. I think the pictures from the beach are enough to show what I look like now. All that I want is to fit into my pre-baby clothes. So on Monday I weighed in at 184.4 (better than 195 in January). In order not to be considered overweight I need to drop to 174. So wish me luck and any good ideas are greatly appreciated. Tiffany

Trip to Charleston

Connor Russell is named after his papa Russell (I won't mention your middle name papa:))They had a good time bonding during the trip. I tend to take good pictures with such great back scenery..While on vacation we traveled to Charleston for a little historical tour and visit with Aunt Catharine.

We had dinner with Catharine and Marc. Connor and I also got to meet Max for the first time. His mom,Colleen, hired me for my first job as a RN. She is my mentor in oncology nursing and one reason that I stayed in oncology (and will never leave it). She and I have kept in touch and now have boys that will be able to grow up knowing each other!!

The boys at dinner. Connor would not sit still. He was hamming it up for Max

Well, I think this picture speaks for itself, except for the chicken neck. Kyle took this of me sneaking in a little kiss while swimming.

Myrtle Beach or Bust

We just returned from a wonderful Sipe Family vacation in Myrtle Beach. Russ and Cheri a.k.a. Nana and Papa met us in the Grand Strand and we had a Grand time. Myrtle Beach has changed a lot since I went there for Senior Beach week in 93 and 94!! I am trying to figure out how to use our new camera so these are the first of many photos I will post.We are so blessed to be loved my Nana and Papa. Nana has all the good photos on her camera so I will get those uploaded soon. Stay tuned for more...Below is us at Broadway at the Beach

Connor had no fear...

Just a little tidbit from the beach..Shortly after this video Connor dropped his boppy in the water. Some baby shark is enjoying a boppy right now...

It's been a long day for this little cool dude...

Here's Connor after 6:00 am ballooning. He went to the community fish fry in style!!!

Fun Fest comes to an end

We enjoyed the last day of Fun Fest waking up very early to watch the balloons. This was definitely Connor's favorite event of the week (he didn't attend beer or wine tasting like Mom and Dad:)It was also our favorite event because he liked it so much!!!Afterwards we went to Paulette's where he played in the hammock.. Until next year Festus...Dad- look!!

It's Fun Fest Time!!

It's been a while since my last post. Without a camera I find that blogging just isn't as much fun. If you are from KPT you know that Fun Fest is here!! I love it and I hope that Connor grows to love it too. This year the Miss KPT pageant will be after Festus so Connor and I got to meet the girls for the first time at the Fun Fest parade. Personally, I think I could pass for a 21 year old...Ha Ha!! Tour De Possum is a Fun Fest event that takes place in Yuma, VA. They pass right by the farm so we set up lawn chairs and cheer them on. They had three groups this year for the 42 mile ride. Connor clapped for everyone that he saw.

Papaw's new sign...

I think this is a beautiful picture. It shows just how pretty the farm is. We had rain recently so everything is green again.

Lorraine had personal transportation down to see the bikes

Kyle and Connor enjoyed from the golf cart

Blogging slacker

I am a blogging slacker. I plan to upload photos from this weekend. I promise. I have been busy with work and school. Since our camera broke we have had to rely on others for photo opps.
I do have one question for all of those blogging moms out there....Are you scrapbooking as well? I would love to hear from everyone. I am still working on Connor's first year scrapbook. Blogging is just so much easier.....Happy 4th of July!!!

Kissing Anna Peters

Allright Romeo!!It is best to look at these photos from the bottom up. So go there and I will give you the play by play.Ahhh. My sweet baby boy... Lovin the ladies
Ok kid- just kiss her already.

Ok- so Nicole was trying to hold Anna and Connor intervened. You can tell she is not happy!!

Ok. I'll give her a little kiss

Ohh. What's the big deal about these little babies?

Nope, Not gonna let Gigi hold her either (Anna looks like she is trying to get our of her arms).

I should have learned in Pawley's island that Connor is not ready for a brother or sister. He becomes very upset if I hold another baby. He wants me to put it down and hold him. I thought I had gotten away with a little sweet Anna time when Connor suddenly appeared and was ready to put her in the floor.

Home Improvements

We've had such a beautiful spring. My darling husband has been hard at work to get our house looking great. Last weekend we planted ( Iactually planted the flowers) and this weekend Kyle, Bruce (papaw) and Wallace put up a much needed fence around the retaining wall.
I am proud of my front door. Aunt Jeannie helped me pick out the flowers! Thanks! This is a photo of our lantana in the planter box overlooking our yard. We have a really nice view and we are such a patriotic family!
Kyle and I have worried that Connor will get wild and fall off the retaining wall (or try to climb it). So this weekend a fence was built and I think it looks beautiful. It really added to the house.

Our front porch rocking chairs. These were my grandparents. Connor has his own rocker too.

I have hanging baskets on each end of the front porch too.

Pawley's Island 2008

Finally!! Beach pictures. Since the camera tragedy I have had to be patient with my downloading abilities. We had the best vacation. We all relaxed and enjoyed the fine hospitality at Club Blount. Reagan and I have vacationed together since we were infants. We would take turns going to the Mississippi river area and they would come to the Tennessee lakes. Reagan and I decided to vacation in different areas- our first was Pawley's Island, SC. Aimee, Allen, and Hayden Eubank were staying there too. We really appreciated the hospitality from Mr. and Mrs. Blount.
Connor and Avery lovin on each other. What a little romeo! The house we stayed in. Our rooms were on the bottom floor- Ocean view and access. It was rough but we managed it!!Tennessea is the formal name of the house but it will always be "Club Blount" to me.
Hayden Eubank just taking it easy on the beach

Connor loved the water after the first day
