Nana and Papa

Nana and Papa spent Tuesday through Sunday with us. It was wonderful. Connor and his parents loved every minute.

January 8, 2007

Today was his due date. He is 11 days old and we are doing well! He is sleeping 4 hours at a time at night.
We have matching nightgowns. Kyle calls it his "man dress".
Four generations- Gigi, great grand mammaw, me and Connor. This was the first time my grandmother met her third great grandchild.
Go Ducks!! He is good luck. Oregon beat #1 UCLA when he wore this outfit!

It has been a great week so far. He is sleeping at least 2-3 hours at a time at night. The pediatrician said he was perfectly healthy and he weighs 7 pounds. These first two photos are two of our favorites so far. We love him so much.

The proud grandparents!! Gigi and Bruce ( he has yet to decide on a "grandfather name") They have been a big help- cooking, errand running and holding him anytime they can.
Maggie thinks he smells good. She is adjusting well. She seems concerned when he cries and can't understand why we are up at night so often.

Contractions started at 2am on Friday morning. I worked until 255 pm then Kyle picked me up.. We were admitted to the hospital at 3:50 pm, epidural in at 6:15 (makeup then reapplied) and I pushed for 30 minutes- He was born at 10:04pm . This photo is Dec. 31st..

Christmas 2006

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!!! We are 38 weeks pregnant and found out today that I am 2 cm dilated. Hopefully our next post will be pictures of our son.
Bruce and Lois are ready to be grandparents!!

Baby Showers

Aimee, Cari, Ritchey, and Carrie hosted a shower in Nashville. There was a mean game of baby bingo that Leslie Sitton won!! What a cute little owl sweater!! GO DUCKS!!
Jeannie and Roger Musson, Jo and Rita Watkins, Doug and Carolyn Tipton and Rhonda Peters hosted a fabulous shower at The Musson's. We also received our stroller from Nana and Papa(Russ and Cheri)

Russ and Cheri came to visit and share the excitement of all the gifts!! This is at my office. Connor received so many great things from my co-workers.

30 Weeks. Heath, Amy and Calhoun Cox came to visit.
27 Weeks

In early September Kyle painted his entire room. We originally had no theme but we officially decided on "Boston Red Sox". We couldn't figure out a way to paint the green monster on the wall.
20 Weeks. It's a boy!!! We officially found out on August 17th. I went to Charleston with Catharine, Cari and Aimee.
Kyle, Eric, Brian and Jeff went to Bristol for the Race.
16 Weeks
Aimee and Cari came to Kingsport to visit, bring maternity clothes from Mary and cook chicken cordon bleu!!
